The perfect entertainment package to accompany existing children’s programs. For those without a regular children’s program but have periods with higher family bookings, Storybook Live! can offer opportunities for activities beyond the shows themselves. With a variety of stories to choose from, Storybook Live! can provide entertainment throughout the week without having to repeat any shows. Because of the stand alone, self-contained nature of the storybook setting, the shows can be presented pretty much anywhere. Plus, they are easily set-up and transported which means the shows can play in multiple spaces at different times of the day.
“The Fairy Tale Squad”
“The Fairy Tale Squad” is a Storybook Live! original concept show, written to specifically include children, along with the cast, within the show itself. Ideal for both cruise ships and resorts with activities programs for kids. Split into 3 age groups, the children will be taught short songs & dances plus dialogue throughout the week with material is age appropriate for each group ensuring maximizing engagement. At the end of the week, a performance of “The Fairy Tale Squad” would be performed for their parents and any other guests.
School Tours
Additional material would be provided to each school for an introduction to fairy tales and the specific story being presented.
Geared for audiences aged 5+, each show has appeal for all elementary grades.
Talk-back options are available with the cast and crew. In the talk-back, they would answer questions about both the story as well as the preparation needed to bring Storybook Live to the school. A great insight into this aspect of theatre.
